A light, low‑density hydrocarbon liquid condensed from wellhead gas streams across Turkmenistan and the Middle East — naturally naphtha‑rich, and stabilized to strip out light ends before it ever reaches a tanker.

It's a flexible feedstock for naphtha and gasoline blending, refinery and petrochemical cracking, and diesel and jet fuel production, moved to market as stable liquid cargo at ordinary tank pressure.

Royal Global Energy supplies gas condensate in three commercial grades — field (lease) condensate, stabilized export condensate and sour condensate — each graded to its own API gravity, sulphur and H₂S limits, but drawn from the same naphtha‑rich wellhead liquid.

Stabilization at the gas plant strips out the methane‑to‑butane fractions that would otherwise flash off in transit, lifting the usable API range and leaving a stable liquid that ships and stores like any other clean petroleum cargo.

Application

Where it's used

Supplied as field, stabilized and sour condensate, moving through three core demand channels alongside naphtha and gasoline blending.

Naphtha & gasoline feedstock

Roughly half naphtha by composition, condensate is a natural feed for reforming and the gasoline blending pool.

Refinery & petrochemical feedstock

High‑paraffin condensate feeds steam crackers for ethylene, along with a wider slate of refinery units.

Diesel & jet fuel precursor

A raw material for reactive, boiler and diesel fuel production once run through the appropriate distillation units.

Storage

Storage & export loading

Stabilized condensate is stable at ordinary tank pressure, unlike the LPG it's separated from — it moves through floating‑roof shore tanks, segregated by grade, to condensate carriers loading for export.

Sour condensate is handled on dedicated lines with H₂S monitoring throughout, and every loading is metered and sampled at custody transfer to confirm API gravity, sulphur and water content on arrival.

Condensate shipping

Transport &
classification

Shipping data for gas condensate cargoes — stabilized export and sour grades — moved under IMDG, ADR/RID and IMO MARPOL Annex I regulations.

Gas condensate is classified for maritime and overland transport as UN 1268, Petroleum Distillates, N.O.S. / Condensate.

Class 3, Flammable Liquid, packing group I given its very low flash point, carried in dedicated product tankers and shore tanks under MARPOL Annex I. Sour grades carry an additional Class 6.1 subsidiary risk label for H₂S.

Regulated for tank transport under ADR/RID; sour condensate is shipped with H₂S monitoring and appropriate subsidiary hazard labelling.

Stored in floating‑roof tanks segregated by grade, with continuous H₂S monitoring on sour streams, away from ignition sources per site HSE procedures.
