SulphurGranular, lump & powder

Bright yellow sulphur sourced from Turkmenistan and the Middle East — manufactured from high‑quality raw material for consistent quality across every form.

It's the feedstock for sulphuric acid, which carries through to detergents, plastics, explosives and a wide range of industrial chemicals.

Purity, % — axis 99.5–100
RGE refinery spec99.98%
Export minimum, typ.99.80%

Both grades sit inside the same tight, near‑total purity band — there's very little room between cargoes.

Forms

Lump, granular
or powder

Royal Global Energy supplies sulphur in three forms — lump, granular and powder — each graded to its own purity, moisture and size limits, but drawn from the same bright‑yellow, high‑purity feedstock.

Granular sulphur carries a defined sieve distribution: the bulk of every cargo sits in the 2.4–4.4 mm band, with tight ceilings on oversize lumps and fine dust either side of it.

Lump

Lump sulphur

Chemical‑industry grade, sourced from reliable vendors for consistent lump quality.

Granular

Granular sulphur

Sized for bulk handling, from <300 microns up to >4.75 mm.

Powder

Powder sulphur

Milled sulfur, non‑oil through 2.5% oil, for rubber and fertilizer manufacture.

Application

Where it's used

Supplied as milled sulfur in four oil‑content grades, alongside lump and granular forms.

Sulphuric acid & chemicals

The primary feedstock for sulphuric acid, which carries through to detergents, plastics, explosives and other industrial chemicals.

Tyre & rubber

Used in tyre and rubber manufacturing, and in the vulcanisation of natural and synthetic rubber.

Fertilizers & plant protection

Non‑oil milled sulfur is also used in the manufacture of fertilizers and plant protection products.

Packing

Bags & export packing

Lump and granular sulphur ship in jumbo bags — flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC) — woven from polypropylene and polyethylene for dustproof, moisture‑proof, ocean‑going transport.

Powder sulphur ships in big bags of 1,000 kg net weight, or in 25 kg paper bags unitised onto 1000×1200 mm pallets in loads of about 1,000 kg.

Powder sulphur

Transport &
classification

Shipping data for powder sulphur — non‑oil through 2.5% oil milled sulfur.

Powder sulphur ships under UN number 1350, declared on the shipping manifest under the proper shipping name SULFUR / SULPHUR.

Classified hazard class 4.1/F3, packaging group III.

Powder sulphur is not covered by ADR and RID regulations on the transport of dangerous goods. Classification certificate No. 053/IPO‑BC/2006 covers milled sulfur; certificate No. 099/IPO/2003 covers sulfur with oil.

Milled sulfur should be stored in sealed, properly labelled containers dedicated to the purpose — big bags or bags.
