Amber, aromatics‑rich pyrolysis gasoline recovered from ethylene plants across Turkmenistan and the Middle East — supplied raw or stabilized through DPG‑I and DPG‑II hydrogenation to a consistent trading specification on every cargo.

It's a high‑octane gasoline blending stock and the primary feedstock for benzene, toluene and xylene (BTX) aromatics extraction.

Hydrotreating lifts the usable aromatics fraction while stripping out the diolefins that would otherwise foul downstream units.

Royal Global Energy supplies pyrolysis gasoline in three commercial grades — raw dripolene, DPG‑I treated and DPG‑II / BTX grade — each graded to its own diolefin, sulfur and gum limits, but drawn from the same aromatics‑rich cracker byproduct.

DPG‑I hydrogenation saturates diolefins and styrene so the stream is stable enough to blend into motor gasoline. DPG‑II goes further, saturating olefins and stripping sulfur so the stream is clean enough to feed an aromatics extraction unit.

Application

Where it's used

Supplied as raw dripolene, DPG‑I treated and DPG‑II / BTX grade, moving through three core demand channels alongside fuel oil blending.

Gasoline blending stock

DPG‑I treated pyrolysis gasoline lifts octane in the motor gasoline pool once diolefins and styrene are saturated.

Aromatics (BTX) extraction

DPG‑II / BTX grade feeds benzene, toluene and xylene recovery units once olefins and sulfur are removed.

Petrochemical & solvent use

Raw dripolene and off‑spec cuts feed further processing into styrene, resin feedstocks and industrial solvents.

Storage & export loading

Pyrolysis gasoline moves at atmospheric pressure — from nitrogen‑blanketed, floating‑roof shore tanks, segregated by treatment grade, to product tankers and rail cars loading for export or inland delivery.

Raw dripolene is inhibited against gum formation and kept under nitrogen blanket; DPG‑treated grades are more stable but still handled on dedicated, segregated lines to avoid cross‑contamination.

Transport &
classification

Shipping data for pyrolysis gasoline cargoes — raw dripolene and DPG‑treated grades — moved under IMDG, ADR/RID and IMO MARPOL Annex I regulations.

Pyrolysis gasoline / dripolene is classified for maritime and overland transport as UN 1268, Petroleum Distillates, N.O.S.

Class 3, Flammable Liquid, packing group II given its higher volatility versus gasoil, carried in dedicated product tankers and shore tanks under MARPOL Annex I.

Regulated for tank transport under ADR/RID; raw dripolene is shipped inhibited against gum formation, in dedicated tank vehicles and wagons.

Stored under nitrogen blanket in sealed, clearly labelled tanks segregated by treatment grade, away from ignition sources and incompatible materials, per site HSE procedures.
