It's a flexible energy carrier for domestic heating, autogas and petrochemical feedstock, moved to market in pressurized and refrigerated gas carriers.

Royal Global Energy supplies LPG in three commercial grades — commercial propane, commercial butane and propane/butane mixture — each graded to its own vapour pressure, volatile residue and purity limits, but drawn from the same high‑quality feedstock.

Composition is held to a tight band on every cargo: propane content sits at 95% minimum for commercial propane, with tight ceilings on butane carryover and moisture at either end.

Commercial propane

Domestic and industrial fuel grade, min. 95% propane, for cylinder filling, heating and autogas.

PB mixture

Blended LPG at a typical 40–60% split, formulated to destination climate and appliance needs.

Commercial butane

Sourced for bulk handling, min. 95% butane, for cylinder markets and petrochemical use.

Supplied as commercial propane, commercial butane and PB mixture, moving through three core demand channels alongside cylinder and bulk distribution.

Domestic & commercial heating

The primary end use for LPG — cooking, water heating and space heating across households, restaurants and industry.

Autogas & transport fuel

A low‑emission alternative fuel for light vehicles and fleets across established autogas markets.

Petrochemical feedstock

Feeds steam crackers and dehydrogenation units for ethylene, propylene and derivative production.

Storage & export loading

LPG moves in pressurized, semi‑refrigerated and fully refrigerated form — from bullet tanks and spheres at the terminal to Midsize and Very Large Gas Carriers loading for export.

Ship‑to‑shore loading is metered and sampled at custody transfer, with vapour return lines balancing pressure across the loading arm throughout.

Transport &
classification

Shipping data for LPG cargoes — propane, butane and PB mixture — moved under IMO gas carrier codes and IMDG/ADR regulations.

LPG — propane, butane or mixture — is classified for maritime and overland transport as UN 1075, Liquefied Petroleum Gas.

Class 2.1, Flammable Gas, carried in dedicated pressurized or refrigerated gas carriers under the IGC Code. No packing group is assigned to gases.

Restricted to tank transport under ADR/RID; road and rail movement permitted only in dedicated pressure tank vehicles and wagons.

Stored in sealed, pressure‑rated tanks, clearly labelled, away from ignition sources and incompatible materials, per site HSE procedures.
